The Gorely volcano is an active volcano on the south of Kamchatka. Its height is 1829 m. The volcano is famous for its various craters, there are about 30 of them. Some are filled with acid, some contain fresh water, and all of them are incredibly beautiful. Once on the spot of the Gorely there was an ancient volcano with a foundation diameter of 25 km. Later its central part sank and formed a ring of the craters, which erupted and overlapped each other. During the tour we will show you a grand creation, to build which nature has spent thousands of years!
Meeting of participants
We meet at the appointed place with the rest of the group, check the gear and take the journey. For an additional fee we can arrange transfer from the hotel, ask for details when booking the tour.
Transfer to the foot of the volcano and back by specially prepared off-road vehicles. The road runs through the Vilyuchinsky mountain pass, which offers stunning views of the Vilyuchinsky, Mutnovsky volcanoes and the valley of the Paratunka river.

Start of ascending
Before ascending we drink tea and get instructions. Climb to the top along stoned lava flows which formed a convenient trail. On the way we look at “kekurniki” – lumps of lava of grandiose and terrible forms. Ascending to the crater takes 3 hours.

Observing craters
After a light snack the most exciting part of the tour begins — we observe the craters of the Gorely volcano! You will see an acidic lake of the "Active" crater, fumaroles — the outputs of sulfur dioxide, the biggest and most beautiful crater "Blue lake" and other craters of interesting shapes.
Returning to the plateau
Dinner
Return to the plateau by the same road. The descent takes 1,5 hours. Hot dinner is waiting for you down at the base camp.
Departure to the city
Travel time — 3,5 hours.
