Tour program

Meeting of participants

We meet at the appointed place with the rest of the group, check the gear and take the journey. For an additional fee we can arrange transfer from the hotel, ask for details when booking the tour.

Transfer to the ocean and back by specially prepared off-road vehicles. The road from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the coast takes short time — less than an hour.

Arriving to Khalaktyrsky beach

Enjoy having rest on the shore: listen to the sound of surf, watch thundering waves, walk on black volcanic sand. The water in the ocean is very cold and only few people run risks to swim in it. But to soak feet in the waves is required: it’s not an everyday thing to stand at "the edge of the earth".

Departure to the city

After a walk on the ocean appetite is whetted with a triple force. After light dinner, full and rested we leave on a tour to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

City tour
The Museum of local lore

Back in town we get to know the history of Kamchatka, visit the museum and the observation deck on the Petrovskaya hill. Keep your camera ready — a view of the Avacha Bay with the coastal part of the city is just gorgeous!

The Museum of geology

After getting acquainted with the culture and the local way of life we are going to study the bowels of Kamchatka nature in the Museum of geology. Here are the minerals, semi-precious stones, minerals and products of volcanic eruptions. The museum staff will show the volcanic bombs, samples of lava and volcanic ash, and talk about the most interesting discoveries of geologists.

After such an informative lecture you will certainly want to visit one of the volcanoes and see all described live!
