The Bystraya (Rapid) River is located in the central part of Kamchatka, it originates from Bakening volcano, stretches for 275 km to the west and meets the Sea of Okhotsk. This is the second longest river of the Kamchatka Peninsula.
Rafting the Bystraya River is an exciting adventure: mountain scenery changes to forest, one can see leaps of salmon through the water, floating ducks with ducklings along the shores. It’s common to see Steller's sea eagle in the sky and bears in shore. Fans of fishing can try their hand at salmon, char and grayling fishing. At the end of rafting goes bathing in hot springs.

We meet at the appointed place with the rest of the group, check the gear and take the journey. For an additional fee we can arrange transfer from the hotel, ask for details when booking the tour. Transfer to the base camp by the river and back from hot springs by specially prepared off-road vehicles.

While guides prepare rafts, we drink tea, eat sandwiches and undergo a safety induction course.
Water is quite calm at this area and doesn’t contain sharp rapids. So you can take your cameras without any doubts in case if we can see a bear. While a guide controls a raft, we fish and enjoy a beautiful scenery.

Lunch
We tie up to a picturesque meadow and have lunch. We cook outdoors and make fish soup from fresh salmon. Have a stroll along surroundings, gather berries, mushrooms and fern depending on the season.
Transfer to Malkinskiye hot springs
In just half an hour we arrive to a real natural spa — Malkinskiye hot springs. Waters from several gryphons fill special ground basins. Temperature in every one of them varies: from comfortably warm to very hot. Thrill-seekers can dive into the ice-cold Klyuchevka river 5 meters away from hot springs.
Departure to the city
Return to the city after a saturated day, looking younger after bathing in natural springs.
